Graphene-based (and similar) nanostructures for spintronics and spin caloritronics. Theoretical studies
Objectives
The objectives of the Project are as follows:
- Studies of the effect of external contacts on edge magnetic moments.
- Comparative studies on charge and spin transport through graphene and selected graphene-like nanostructures.
- Studies on magneto-thermoelectric effects in graphene and similar 2-dimensional nanostructures.
- Studies on effects due to electron correlations and structural defects in the context of low-dimensional nanosystems.
