Electronic and magnetic properties of intermetallic d- and f-electron systems.

Methods of ab-initio  calculations:

FP LMTO, FLAPW, KKR-CPA, FPLO, ASW, VASP, Wien2k, Abinit, SIESTA.

Main problems:

theory of magnetic properties of metals and alloys,

effect of structural disorder,

non-collinear magnetism,

electronic structure of Heusler type alloys,

electronic and magnetic properties of uranium compounds,

electronic structure of rare-earth intermetallics.
