  • Emergence of Ferromagnetic State Due to Structural Disorder

Quenched-in disorder is responsible for the emergence of ferromagnetism in Ce(Fe0.9Co0.1)2 compound. AFM and FM components are visible at low temperatures.

  • When superfluidity meets superconductivity

Upstream and downstream concentrations of 3He as a function of the filtration time. (a) upstream concentration for YBCO-123 as compared to MWCNTs at 55 mW heater power. (b) upstream and downstream 3He concentrations measured simultaneously, black arrows mark the appearance of the lambda transition and switching on the heater to drive the fountain effect. Insert shows the mass spectrum with additional arrows indicating the 3He and 4He concentrations.
